If you lost all your wealth, if you lost your son to illness, if you lost all your 4 daughters in a ship wreck, what would you do?
I don't know what you would do but let me tell you what Horatio G. Spattford did.
After hearing the news that his 4 daughters died in a ship wreck, he traveled to meet his wife whose life was spared. When he got to the site where his daughters died, he wrote the song that we all have been singing for hundreds of years: It Is Well With My Soul.
"When peace like a river attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll,
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul."
