That is what the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr. was saying this evening at an intimate gathering at Stanford. He started his talk with a sad stat how none of these major Silicon Valley tech companies have an African American on the board of directors. He added, we need to do something about it. He was simply phenomenal.
It was great to give a talk at Whole Foods Market about the importance of taking care of our skin. Our body, on the average, has about 2 million pores. Which means, anything you put on your skin goes right inside. Be intentioanl about the product you use on your body as much as you are about the food you put in your body.
I will be revealing beauty secrets and sharing beauty tips on February 15th, from 12: 00 - 4:00 PM at Whole Foods Market in Los Altos. For centuries, models and beauty queens have kept these secrets, but I believe in sharing. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and spritzer samples will also be served.
There will also be book-signing!
To secure your seat, please reserve your spot by emailing LATevents@wholefoods.com.
